Get Started with Tiquo

This guide will walk you through setting up your Tiquo account and getting your first booking system operational.

Create Your Account

Visit tiquo.app and sign up for your account.You’ll need:
  • A valid email address
  • Your business name
  • Basic business information
Tiquo uses Clerk for authentication, so you can also sign up with Google or other social providers.

Set Up Your Organization

After signing in, you’ll create your organization:
  1. Enter your business name and contact details
  2. Select your industry type (restaurant, salon, fitness, etc.)
  3. Configure your timezone and locale settings
  4. Upload your logo for branding
Your organization is the top-level container for all your locations, staff, and data.

Configure Your First Location

Add your first service location:
  1. Enter the location name and address
  2. Set operating hours for each day
  3. Configure booking settings (lead time, buffer periods, etc.)
  4. Add service categories you offer
You can add multiple locations later from Settings → Locations.

Add Your Services

Define the services customers can book:
  1. Create service categories to organize your offerings
  2. Add individual services with names, descriptions, and pricing
  3. Set duration and resource requirements
  4. Configure availability and booking rules

Connect Payment Processing

Set up Stripe Connect for payments:
  1. Go to Settings → Payments
  2. Click Connect with Stripe
  3. Complete the Stripe onboarding flow
  4. Configure tipping options and receipt settings
You’ll need to complete Stripe’s identity verification before accepting live payments.

Invite Your Team

Add staff members to your organization:
  1. Navigate to Settings → Team
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter their email and select a role:
    • Admin: Full access
    • Manager: Location management
    • Staff: Day-to-day operations
  4. They’ll receive an email invitation to join

Your First Booking

Now let’s create your first test booking:
From the dashboard, click Orders in the sidebar, then New Order.
Search for an existing customer or click Add New Customer to create one.Enter:
  • Name and contact information
  • Any notes or preferences
  • Optional: Company association
Select the services for this booking:
  1. Pick a service category
  2. Select the specific service
  3. Choose a date and time
  4. Assign a staff member (optional)
Review the booking details:
  • Customer information
  • Selected services and pricing
  • Date, time, and duration
  • Assigned staff
Click Create Booking to confirm.
Tiquo will automatically send:
  • Confirmation email to the customer
  • Reminder email 24 hours before (configurable)
  • Follow-up email after the appointment (optional)

Once you have your first booking, explore these key areas:

Install Mobile Apps

Equip your staff with mobile access:
  1. Download Tiquo Staff from the App Store
  2. Sign in with your Tiquo credentials
  3. Grant notification permissions
  4. You’re ready to manage bookings on the go!

Set Up PDQ Terminal

For in-person payments, set up your Stripe S700:

Order Hardware

Contact Tiquo support to order a Stripe S700 with Tiquo’s custom firmware pre-installed.

Connect to WiFi

Power on the terminal and connect it to your business WiFi network.

Pair with Tiquo

In your dashboard, go to Settings → Terminals and follow the pairing instructions.

Test a Payment

Process a test transaction to ensure everything is working correctly.
