Site Builder

Edit pages, blocks, media, and customer-facing actions in Tiquo Content

The Site Builder is the page editor for Tiquo Content sites. It lets staff build pages from reusable blocks while keeping customer-facing content connected to the rest of Tiquo.

Opening the Site Builder

To edit a page:

  1. Open Content from the main sidebar.
  2. Select the website you want to edit.
  3. Open a page from the site tree.
  4. Use the editor to update blocks, media, layout, and page settings.

Changes can be reviewed in the page preview before publishing.

Page Tree

The page tree shows the pages that belong to the current site.

Use the page tree to move between pages, review site structure, and check whether an imported page has been added in the expected place.

Blocks

Pages are built from blocks. A block is a reusable section of content or functionality.

Common block types include:

  • Hero sections
  • Rich text
  • Images and video
  • Maps
  • Columns
  • Customer calls to action
  • Collections or lists of content

Each block has its own settings. For example, a video block can control the video source and preview behaviour, while a rich text block controls formatting and colour.

Block Palette

The block palette contains the blocks available for the current site.

Some organisations restrict which blocks can be used on a site. This is useful when a site needs to stay within a defined brand system or when certain advanced blocks are only intended for staff-managed pages.

When a block is disabled for a site, it does not appear as a normal option in the palette for staff editing that site.

Columns and Nested Layouts

Columns blocks allow staff to place content side by side.

Blocks can be dragged into columns, so a page can combine text, media, maps, and calls to action within a structured layout. This is useful for pages that need editorial sections, feature grids, venue details, or booking prompts without creating a custom template for every page.

Media

The Site Builder supports page media such as images, logos, video, and hero media.

Media should be reviewed in preview before publishing, especially when used in hero areas or cards where cropping and aspect ratio affect the final page.

Hero Sections

Hero sections can include text, media, links, and calls to action.

Call-to-action links can open in different ways depending on the page design. For example, a link can send the customer to another page, open a native overlay where supported, or point to a booking or customer flow.

Preview

The preview shows how the page will appear to customers.

Use preview after changing:

  • Hero media
  • Videos
  • Columns
  • Text colour
  • Calls to action
  • Imported content

Preview is especially important for mobile layouts, where block order and media cropping can change the feel of the page.

Publishing

Publishing makes the latest page changes available on the live site.

Before publishing, check that:

  • Links go to the expected destinations
  • Media loads correctly
  • Mobile and desktop layouts both read clearly
  • Customer-facing actions open the correct flow or page
  • Imported pages have the right title and structure
