Operations Overview

Real-time operational tools for teams, venues, and devices

The Operations layer in Tiquo is designed to support real-time, on-site, and remote workflows across teams, venues, and devices. It brings together order handling, bookings, payments, customer interactions, and staff actions into a single operational surface.

Operations is where day-to-day activity happens, whether that is front-of-house service, back-office management, or live venue control.

Operational Tools Overview

Tiquo provides a unified set of operational tools that work seamlessly across different devices and environments.

Supported devices include:

  • iOS devices (iPhone and iPad)
  • Android devices
  • Web browsers
  • Desktop environments
  • Card readers and payment hardware

This allows teams to operate from tills, handheld devices, kiosks, tablets, or desktops without changing systems or workflows.

Device Capabilities and Limitations

Most operational actions can be performed across all supported devices, including:

  • Creating and managing orders
  • Taking payments
  • Checking in customers
  • Managing bookings and availability
  • Viewing customer profiles and activity
  • Scanning wallet cards and QR codes

Configuration-level actions, such as:

  • Creating or editing products and services
  • Managing locations, sublocations, and floor plans
  • Setting up flows, inventory rules, and advanced settings

are intentionally restricted to the web app to ensure consistency, security, and clarity when making structural changes.

This separation ensures operational speed on site while maintaining control over core configuration.
