Customer Portal

Self-service interface for customers to manage their relationship with your business

Customer Portal Overview

The Customer Portal is a customer-facing, self-service interface that allows customers to manage their relationship with your business without staff involvement. Each organisation can have one or more portals, with one designated as the primary portal.

Portals are hosted by Tiquo and available via a secure URL. They are fully configurable in terms of branding, appearance, navigation structure, and available features, and automatically adapt across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Customer Authentication

Customers authenticate using passwordless email-based OTP authentication. This provides a low-friction login experience while maintaining strong security.

Authentication is shared across the Customer Portal, Customer Flows, DOM package, Client API, and optional OIDC OAuth IDP, meaning a customer can move seamlessly between experiences without repeated logins.

Once authenticated, customers are issued secure sessions that allow access to permitted self-service actions.

Self-Service Access

The Customer Portal allows customers to independently manage key actions and data, depending on which features are enabled.

Self-service access can include:

  • Creating new bookings and appointments
  • Viewing upcoming bookings
  • Viewing booking history
  • Viewing and managing open tabs
  • Viewing invoices and receipts
  • Managing saved payment methods
  • Viewing and editing profile information
  • Viewing membership status, benefits, and subscriptions
  • Viewing company information and policies such as Terms, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy

All portal sections can be enabled, disabled, or hidden when empty, and reordered via drag and drop.

Customer-Facing Actions

From the portal, customers can perform real actions that interact directly with your live operational data.

Customer-facing actions include:

  • Booking services using real-time availability
  • Viewing and settling open tabs
  • Downloading invoices and receipts
  • Updating personal details and contact information
  • Managing saved cards and payment methods
  • Viewing membership entitlements and subscription status

All actions taken in the Customer Portal are reflected instantly across the Tiquo platform, including CRM, bookings, orders, payments, and analytics.
