PDQ Terminals

S700 and S710 payment terminals for in-person transactions

PDQ Terminal Overview

Tiquo supports multiple PDQ terminals for taking in-person payments. All terminals share the same core payment capabilities and integrate directly with Tiquo Point of Sale and Stripe.

The primary difference between terminals is how they connect to the network, not how they behave in the platform.

Terminal Comparison

The S700 is designed for fixed or docked point-of-sale setups.

It relies on a network connection provided by the venue, such as Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and is typically used at:

  • Counters and tills
  • Reception desks
  • Fixed checkout points

Capabilities:

  • Card payments and supported local payment methods
  • Customer-facing payment prompts
  • Integration with POS and Till Display mode
  • Real-time order total display and confirmation
  • Secure payment processing via Stripe

For full technical specifications and setup instructions, see the dedicated S700 Terminal page.

The S710 offers the same payment capabilities as the S700, with the addition of built-in mobile network connectivity.

This allows the terminal to operate independently without relying on venue Wi-Fi, making it ideal for:

  • Table-side service
  • Roaming staff
  • Events and pop-ups
  • Outdoor or temporary setups

Capabilities:

  • Mobile in-person payments
  • Real-time order total display and confirmation
  • Integration with staff devices and POS
  • Secure payment processing via Stripe
  • Operation over mobile networks for full portability

For full technical specifications and setup instructions, see the dedicated S710 Terminal page.
