Email Configuration
Configure sender details, domains, and unsubscribe settings
Email Configuration Overview
Email Configuration controls how emails are sent from your organisation within Tiquo. This includes sender details, domain settings, and unsubscribe behaviour.
These settings apply across all outbound emails, including newsletters, transactional messages, and system notifications.
Proper email configuration ensures:
- Emails are delivered reliably
- Messages are trusted by recipients
- Your organisation complies with email and marketing regulations
Sender Details
Sender Details define how your emails appear in a recipient's inbox.
You can configure:
- Sender name, shown as the "From" name
- Sender email address
- Reply-to email address, if different from the sender
These details are used across all emails sent from Tiquo unless overridden by a specific campaign or message type.
Using a recognisable sender name and a trusted email address improves open rates and deliverability.
Domain and Email Settings
Domain and Email Settings allow you to configure and verify the domain used to send emails.
This typically includes:
- Verifying your sending domain
- Configuring DNS records as required
- Associating the domain with your organisation
Using a verified domain helps:
- Prevent emails from being marked as spam
- Improve deliverability and inbox placement
- Protect your brand reputation
Once configured, all emails are sent on behalf of your organisation using the verified domain.
Unsubscribe Settings
Unsubscribe Settings control how customers opt out of marketing communications.
You can configure:
- The unsubscribe behaviour included in marketing emails
- Automatic handling of unsubscribe requests
- How opt-out status is stored on the customer profile
When a customer unsubscribes:
- Their marketing opt-in parameter is updated automatically
- They are excluded from future marketing communications
- Transactional and operational emails remain unaffected
This ensures compliance with email regulations and gives customers clear control over their communication preferences.
