Automations

Trigger marketing actions from bookings, orders, enquiries, memberships, and customer behaviour

Automations let operators trigger marketing actions based on what happens in Tiquo, without staff having to remember to send each message manually.

They connect operational events, such as bookings, orders, enquiries, and memberships, to outbound actions across email, SMS, and other marketing channels.

Automations are configured under Marketing > Automations.

How an Automation Works

Each automation is built around a trigger and one or more actions.

  • Trigger: an event in Tiquo, for example a booking being completed, a member joining a plan, an enquiry reaching a particular stage, or a customer not visiting for a set period.
  • Action: what should happen when the trigger fires. The most common action is sending an email, optionally using a marketing template, but automations can also assign tasks, update customer parameters, and support other follow-up work.

Automations can include delays, conditions, and branching so the right message reaches the right customer at the right moment.

Example Automations

A few common flows:

  • Post-booking follow-up: when a booking is completed, wait 24 hours, then send a thank-you email with a feedback link.
  • Membership welcome: when a new member is approved, send a welcome email with their wallet card install link.
  • Win-back: if a customer has not visited in 90 days, send a reactivation email with a one-time discount code.
  • Enquiry chase: if an enquiry sits in Waiting on Customer for more than 7 days, send a polite nudge.

Because automations work from live operational data, they keep customer communications timely without adding staff overhead.
