Restaurant
Configure restaurant tables, seating capacity, availability, and reservation rules in Simple Mode
Restaurant Simple Mode is built around the physical tables and seats that can accept reservations. The workspace is named Tables & seating and keeps a single underlying Table Service and Tables calendar behind the simpler table-management view.
Preset at a Glance
| Setting | Restaurant behavior |

Simple Mode supports one Table Service and one Tables inventory item. The tables and seats shown in the workspace are instances of that inventory.
Add and Configure Tables
Click Add Table to create a table. If the underlying Table Service and Tables inventory do not exist yet, Tiquo creates and connects them automatically.
Open a table card to configure:
- Its ID, customer-facing or staff-facing name, and active status
- Minimum and maximum guest capacity
- Floorplan assignment
- Table shape: round, square, or rectangle
- Number of chairs shown on the floorplan
Tables that are not connected to a floorplan are marked Not on floorplan.
Add Bar Seating
The same workspace has a separate Bar seating section. Click Add Bar Seat to add individually bookable seats. Each bar-seat instance is fixed to one guest and uses a chair floorplan element.
Configure Availability and Booking Rules
Open Dining availability to set the service hours, availability windows, and calendar rules shared by the tables and seats.
Use Booking Flow to configure the reservation journey. Its sections include General, Services, Steps & navigation, Scheduling, Customer details, Payment, Policies, Layout, and Deployment. Appearance, localization, and notifications have their own entries in the Simple Mode sidebar.
The business type cannot be changed after services or inventory have been created unless those items are deleted. If more than one service or inventory item exists, Simple Mode shows Advanced configuration detected and directs you to Advanced Mode.
Use Advanced Mode for multiple reservation services, multiple inventory calendars, or custom flow connections. After settings are edited in Advanced Mode, that flow cannot return to Simple Mode.
