Sport and Leisure Facilities
Configure activity categories, bookable activities, facilities, variable duration, and capacity in Simple Mode
Sport and Leisure Facilities Simple Mode is designed for bookable courts, pitches, lanes, equipment, and activity spaces. Its workspace is named Activities & facilities.
Preset at a Glance
| Setting | Sport and Leisure Facilities behavior |
|---|---|
| Workspace | Activities & facilities |
| Customer journey | Date & time → activity category → activity |
| Category | Activity Category |
| Service | Activity |
| Inventory | Facilities, using calendar-based availability |
| Booking length | Variable, measured in hours |
| Party size | Not used |
Each Activity appears as a folder containing the Facilities that can fulfil it.
Organise Activities
Create Activity Categories to group related offerings, then add Activities such as Court Hire, Climbing, Swimming Lane, or Equipment Hire.
Configure each Activity with its name, description, images, price, variable hourly duration, capacity, status, and access settings. The category step is skipped automatically while fewer than two Activity Categories are available.
Add or Share Facilities
Open an Activity folder and choose Add Facility. You can:
- Create new Facility with separate capacity and calendar availability
- Link existing Facility when several Activities consume the same physical resource
Linking the same Facility to multiple Activities creates shared availability: a booking through any connected Activity uses that Facility's capacity. Drag a Facility between Activity folders when its connection should be reassigned instead.
Configure each Facility's operating schedule, booking windows, duration limits, increments, and capacity.
Configure the Booking Flow
Customers select a date and time, then an Activity Category and an available Activity. Booking length is variable and measured in hours.
Use Booking Flow to configure scheduling, customer details, payment, policies, layout, deployment, and the other customer-flow settings.
Use Advanced Mode for activities requiring several facilities at once, priority or fallback allocation, or multiple customer journeys. After settings are edited in Advanced Mode, that flow cannot return to Simple Mode.
