Hotel Rooms
Configure room types, physical rooms, occupancy, nightly rates, and stay rules in Simple Mode
Hotel Rooms Simple Mode separates the accommodation guests buy from the physical room ultimately allocated to the stay. Its workspace is named Room types & rooms.
Preset at a Glance
| Setting | Hotel Rooms behavior |
|---|---|
| Workspace | Room types & rooms |
| Customer journey | Stay dates → guests → available room type |
| Categories | Not used |
| Service | Room Type |
| Inventory | Rooms, using calendar-based availability |
| Booking length | Variable, measured in nights |
| Party size | 1–10 guests; default 2 |
Each Room Type appears as a folder containing its connected Rooms. Where a room inventory has instances, the individual named rooms are shown as separate cards.
Configure Room Types
Create a Room Type for each sellable accommodation option, such as Double Room or Suite. Configure its:
- Name, descriptions, images, and active status
- Nightly pricing and tax
- Occupancy and guest rules
- Minimum and maximum stay
- Check-in and check-out times
- Extra-adult and extra-child supplements where required
The customer flow uses a double-month calendar by default.
Add or Link Rooms
Open a Room Type folder and choose Add Room. You can:
- Create new Room with separate capacity and availability
- Link existing Room when the same room inventory already exists
Rooms can be dragged between Room Type folders to reassign their connection. Named room instances expose an ID, name, active status, and minimum and maximum guest capacity.
Configure the Booking Flow
The preset enables stay-date selection and a guest-count step. Availability is calendar based and the selected stay length can vary.
Use Booking Flow for steps, scheduling, customer details, payment, policies, layout, and deployment. Appearance, localization, and notifications are available alongside it.
The business type is locked once services or inventory exist.
Use Advanced Mode for packages spanning several room types, optional inventory fallbacks, or custom flow connections. After settings are edited in Advanced Mode, that flow cannot return to Simple Mode.
