Why does Tiquo say a customer's contact details look fake?
What the Are you sure you want to save? message means and how to fix the details it found.
When you save a customer, Tiquo checks each email address and phone number on the form. If one looks fake, mistyped, or incomplete, you'll see Are you sure you want to save? with a note under each detail explaining what Tiquo found.
| Note | What to do |
|---|---|
| The digits repeat, which real phone numbers don't. | Ask the customer for their real number. |
| The digits run in sequence, which is a typical placeholder. | Ask the customer for their real number. |
| 555 numbers are reserved for films and TV, not real customers. | Ask the customer for their real number. |
| This number looks incomplete. | Check for missing digits, or that the right country is selected. |
| This isn't a valid phone number, so it can't be called or texted. | Check the digits and the country. |
| This looks like a placeholder rather than a real inbox. | Ask the customer for their real address, or leave the field empty. |
| This is a temporary inbox that stops working shortly after it's made. | Ask the customer for an address they'll keep using. |
| This looks misspelt. Did you mean ...? | Select Fix email to use the suggested address. |
| This email address looks incomplete, so nothing can be delivered to it. | Check the address for missing parts, such as the ending after the dot. |
- Fix each detail, or select Back to return to the form and edit it yourself.
- Save the customer again.
If you know the details are right, select Save anyway.
