How do I add images, carousels, or videos to an entry?
Use the rich-text toolbar to add media library images, image carousels, and YouTube or Vimeo videos.
The body of an article or other entry uses a rich-text editor. Its toolbar stays at the top of the field while you scroll.
Add an image
- Click where the image should go.
- Select Image in the toolbar. The media library opens.
- Search for an image and choose Select Image, or drop a new file on the upload area (or click it) to upload one.
The image keeps the alt text saved in the media library. You can also paste or drag an image straight into the text; it is uploaded to the media library so you can reuse it.
To swap an image, select it in the text and choose Replace image. The new image keeps the old one's size, alignment, caption, and link. Select Caption to add a caption.
For image fields outside the body, such as a featured image, use Choose image or Replace image under the field.
Add a carousel
- Select Image carousel in the toolbar.
- Pick the images in the order they should appear, then select Add images.
- Select a slide to add its Caption and Alt text, move it left or right, or remove it.
Use Add images on the carousel to add more slides later. Your website shows the carousel as a slider.
Add a video
Select Embed video or player and paste a YouTube or Vimeo link. SoundCloud, Spotify, Mixcloud, and Bandcamp links, and embed code, also work. Links must start with https. The embed shows a preview in the editor.
