How do I check a signed document's sealed copy?
Download the sealed PDF and compare it with its verification record.
- Open the signed document and check whether its sealed PDF is available.
- Download the sealed copy when it is ready.
- Open the verification link from the certificate page's QR code.
- Choose the PDF on that page to compare its hash with the recorded copy.
The file comparison runs in the browser without uploading the PDF. It checks that the file matches the sealed copy. Your PDF software can show a separate warning about whether it trusts the signing certificate.
A pending, failed, or unavailable seal needs review before the file is described as sealed. Older signed documents do not automatically have one. See Sealed signed copies.
